Has anyone ever had a scheduled C section that they knew they were going to be completely put under for? (Not a spinal).

I have to have one for my first baby and I am not able to get a spinal and have to be totally put out.

I’m just wondering if anyone has had this like going in knowing they were being put under?

I’ve been put out for other surgeries but just wondering if anyone can tell me their experience from arriving at the hospital and the prep and all of that
