Has anyone noticed a milk supply drop around 6 months?

So baby has been breastfeed since day one, whenever he wakes up around 5 am after not feeding him at night I would usually get 5-6 ounces from one side. And yesterday when I pumped I only got two ounces. We usually give him a breast milk bottle at night which now i can’t even use cause he’ll drink two ounces in a
Minute. I hope this isn’t the start of my milk drying

Yes, I felt like my supply slipped quite a bit around 5.5 months, which made me nervous because it was just a few weeks before going back to work, and I worried that would cause it to drop more. It was particularly noticeable in the evenings. I started drinking one cup of Pink Stork vanilla lactation tea a day and ... whoa!!! Zero issues with supply almost immediately and for the last month.

I definitely did. I typically pump about 15-18 ounces at work and it dropped to about 11 ounces and we've been giving formula at night because I feel empty. I started taking a moringa supplement and it helped me pump about 2 additional ounces.

I agree with the above post about power pumping! I’ve seen similar posts on my FB group about a drop in supply around 6 months! So it’s a thing! I think it’s related to getting our periods back. Have you gotten yours yet?

Could be a 6 month growth spurt too. Just keep that in mind while you're breastfeeding. Your babe is gonna try to be getting your supply up around this time.
