At how many weeks did you pack your hospital bag ???

At how many weeks did you pack yours and babys hospital bag ??? Oh and hubbys or s/o bag lol .... And when did you install your carseat base ???

I started putting little bits in from 32 weeks. I was ready to go from 35 weeks. Car seat was in from 36 weeks

Like Elsie, we started around 32weeks. We lived within 20 minutes of the hospital so my husband put a few things in my bag knowing he could just run home or to the nearby Target.

I'm 36 weeks now and it hasn't been packed but I feel like I need to asap!

I've had my bag packed since 25 weeks having had a premature birth before and having complete previa. I have a few things to add but mostly ready and probably put the car seat base in this week at 31/32 weeks

My husband went to the police substation and got help having it installed the day after my baby was born while she and I were napping. There are volunteers at the hospital too that are trained to help in case you procrastinate.
What is important is your peace of mind. If you want to be prepared right this very second, then f*** any haters. You are the most important. Do what makes you feel calm or safe or prepared. Ppl might laugh at you...let them. Later you can laugh and say "oh, I was pregnant; wasn't I silly."
Oh, and get one of those infant head supports for the car seats; their heads are so floppy when they're brand new. Also sit in the backseat with your baby on the way home from hospital and talk to Him/her...you'll both feel better.
