How to tell my family!?

I’m 18, just graduated and currently living at home. I just found out i am 7 weeks pregnant! My boyfriend and i are very excited but i’m worries to have to tell my parents. I can’t see myself just sitting down and saying it so what would be a better way to handle this?

Best way would be to sit down with them. Over text or phone isn't really the best way to go. It may be daunting but it's the best way to do it

I was in your exact situation. I found out I was pregnant this last September/October and had just graduated June. I ended up texting a picture to my mom (don’t do that) and I called my dad because he lives out of state. It’s was definitely scary just because I knew what my mom had went threw as a teen mom and now I had to tell her I would be a mom. I regret telling my mom over text just because it’s such an important situation and I believe your family will understand just sit them down and tell them. It may be hard in the moment but I am now 17 weeks and they are so excited and soon got over it. Good luck!
