38 pounds down!

I began working out and changed my eating habits at the end of May 2018. I was at my heaviest, weighing even more than I had at the end of my pregnancy. So far, I’ve lost 38 pounds. I started at 220, currently at 182. 37 pounds to go until I hit my goal!

EDIT: I’ve had a few people ask about my meals and this is simpler than posting screen shots. I eat around 1200 calories a day. I track everything with MyFitnessPal. Every meal I make at home, I add as a recipe so i get an exact calorie count. I think portion control is really key. Here’s a break down of my meals

Breakfast- 2 egg whites, 2 pieces of low sodium bacon & a mini babybel cheese. Sometimes on weekends I eat pancakes or biscuits with eggs.

Lunch- I eat A LOT of spaghetti squash. I’ll either have half a chicken breast with broccoli or spaghetti squash with taco meat.

Snacks- an apple, granola bar and a serving of baby carrots. If I want sweets, I limit myself to 150 calories of chocolate.

Dinner- Usually my highest calorie meal because who can get a 2 year old to actually eat a real dinner? 😅 but I’ll eat chicken, fish or beef with some sort of veggie most nights. Some nights it’s grilled cheese or pasta.

I also only drink coffee, water and an occasional beer/glass of wine. I had to really cut back on alcohol and it’s made a huge difference. I drink a gallon of water per day.
