Pumping on an airplane?

Question

I'm EBF my 11 week old but have to take a quick trip cross-country for a job interview. Since it's a 5-6 hour flight... Does that mean I will have to pump in the bathroom on the plane? Sounds totally unhygienic.

If anyone has any experience or advice, please share!! Thank you!!

I honestly would not be comfortable pumping in my seat or in the bathroom. I feel that planes are so tight to begin with that it would be super difficult with such a small space. I have no problem BF in public, but that would be pushing it for me. Everyone is different though! My suggestion would be to pump right before boarding and then right after landing. You might get a little full but I wouldn't think it would be too bad! Good luck!
