Buying name brand shoes for kids?

What age did you or would you start buying name brand shoes for your kids?

We only buy Nike & Under Armor. The ones from Walmart or Payless never hold up for us. So as soon as they were walking they had name brand shoes.

Just bought my 15 month old twins sneakers. They are champion and only $11 a piece and the girls love the :)

Walking age.  Maybe soft bottom crib name brands for occasions but def not $100 sneakers for baby who can’t even stand lol

My son will be 2 in May and I still haven’t bought him any name brand shoes. His shoes come from Walmart and they’re super cute. We’ve also bought a couple pair from Carters. I just cannot fathom spending $25+ on shoes for a toddler.

He got New Balances at 10 months solely because that’s what his neurologist recommended as best for correcting abnormal gait prior to braces (this was before he could even walk on his own, he was still using push walker). 
We go to DSW so he gets NB or Underarmour, but they’re $20 or less because they’re always on sale.

My daughter had Jordans and Yeezys before she was born, but only because Daddy is a collector. She mostly wears cheap stuff from Target, even though she has some very nice shoes. Kids are hard on them, so if it’s not in your budget to make a frivolous purchase just for fun, don’t bother.

My kiddo is almost two and has one pair of adidas but the most I’ve spent on his shoes were $35 at Nordstrom and I don’t know what brand they are...

My niece just started walking, so for her 1st birthday I got her a pair of Adidas shoes that were around $30.
