Why did your parents divorce?

My mom was an alcoholic and in my opinion emotionally abused my dad. He ended up with sole custody of me and my brother and she moved to another state. We haven't been in contact in years and it's much better that way. She definitely taught me what not to do as a mother & wife.

Mine weren’t married but engaged and my bio dad was physically abusive towards me and my mother so they split when I was 10

Dad was married before and his wife cheated on him. He had some trust issues and didn’t treat mom the way she wanted to be treated. They mutually agreed to divorce and that was that. They still cared about each other maybe even loved each other at that time, they just knew that it wasn’t going to work out.

My parents were never married my mom just packed up and left with my brother and I one day (we were really little) 🤷🏽‍♀️ that didn’t end so well for her..

Dad was alcoholic and abusive, my mom cheated, the beat her with a tire iron broke her back almost decapateated her. She left , re married a wonderful guy, cheated on him , remarried an abusive guy (also abused me ) and he left her for drugs and another woman. (Last I heard she remarried him)

My parents were actually really great together and I’ll never understand why they divorced lol. They were together for almost 20 years and then randomly divorced but they mutually fell out of love over the last couple of years. No cheating or abuse
