Excuse my dirty hand as I’m on duty at my fire house and did some training but my best friend did a thing. Two stones. The box it came in opens up very uniquely and one side says best friends and the other says true love. The two stones (in his words) represent us.

When we met being together was not on either of our minds. We were both dealing with relationship situations of our own. However, we became best friends. It felt like I had known him forever. I could talk to him about anything. I could ask for advice and ask questions and he didn’t treat me like I was dumb, instead of belittling me for not knowing something or messing something up, he took the time to walk me through it and teach me(we met at the fire house that I now work at, he already did). One of the most important things to me was that he made me feel safe. Without a doubt I knew that if he was there, I would be ok, no matter the situation. During times when I felt like quitting, he was there to tap my helmet and say “what are you doing? You got this, you know this. Make a move.” He pushed me to do what he knew I could even when I felt like a failure. He is the best friend I could ask for and he is also my lover, my man, and someone that I know will do his best for me.
