Ugh my daughter got her 12 month shots plus the flu shot last Friday (Jan 11). That weekend she had low grade fevers which went away with Motrin.

Previous to the shots she was slightly congested in her nose. After the shots, the cold and congestion got worse. All week, we have been running her humidifier, clearing her nose etc. last night after her bath, I decided to use zarabees chest rub, I put a little on her feet and a little on her back. 2 hours later, she’s wide awake and has a low fever (99.5), I give her Motrin and just assume it’s teething related cause she’s also been fighting that...

now, an hour ago, she wakes up crying and has a temp of 102.4, Gave her cool bath and more Motrin... but then started reading online and came across an article about Reye syndrome and not giving your baby anything containing wintergreen oil after a viral infection or chicken pox vac. (I looked at the chest rub jar and it does have it), so now I’m freaking out and not sure what to do. Waiting for a call back from the doctors and trying not to worry 🥺😐
