Dotted hpt

I am 8dpo very early and I decided to take a early response test and this is what I got. My initial reaction was that it's a bad test but decided to call the company and the rep said that it is positive...very skeptical...so I asked her why it would have dots and she said it is just the way the moisture distributed through the test I am going to re test in a couple days I'm not counting this as my bfp but wanted to see if anyone has had or seen this kind of test result and what the outcome was just curious? ​​
