Low Rising HCG and Bleeding
4th week-HCG numbers low (still within normal range), but doubled every 72 hours.
5th week-HCG on 1/14 were 244. 1/18 HCG 355. So still low, and didn't double at same rate as week before.
Bleeding started the evening of 1/17. Heavy and small clots 1/18 and 1/19. Still light today. Low pressure in abdomen for one day but nothing like the horrible pain I read about during miscarriages.
1/7 began taking progesterone orally. BBT (basal body temperature) temps no noticeable change with extra progesterone. BBT (basal body temperature) dropped 1/18 by .5 degrees and shot back up to where it was before.
My brain is telling me that with HCG levels not rising the way they should....and all the bleeding....it's over. But my BBT (basal body temperature) temps have me holding on to hope. Why would they raise again after dropping during the heavy bleeding?
I've experienced miscarriages in August and December. It feels the same to me. Same bleeding/cramping. Whenever I call the Dr they always ask if I'm filling a pad every hour or having extreme cramping. The answer is always no.....but the outcome is always miscarriage!!!! I've read so many stories of women having low rising HCG with no problems. And I've read of women bleeding a lot more than me and having a happy ending. But not sure about both HCG issues and bleeding!
I'm supposed to hear back from the Dr on Tuesday and she'll probably have me just go get another HCG reading. The waiting is killing me. She wouldnt tell me either way what she thought after the last HCG read last week.
