Period but no blood?

I was anorexic in high school and lost my period. It’s been almost 10 years, and I still have not gotten it back. Every month around the same time I get PMS symptoms, but no blood comes. Is it possible to still have a menstrual cycle with no flow?

Periods are defined as the shedding to he uterine lining. This would mean that blood must be present for the lining to shed and for a new lining to form for the next month. I would definitely go to your OB/GYN or family doctor to do a fertility work up to ensure that your all set.

It depends on what your height / weight is tbh. Make sure you’re getting all essential vitamins and aren’t anemic
