How much goes your spouse help with the baby?

More than 25, less than 50.  Probably a good 30-40.  He works longer hours and I breastfeed though.

It is pretty close to 50/50 there are some things he cannot do - feed the baby which is pretty time consuming, but he cooks dinner each night for us after work and cleans up and takes care of the dogs while I nurse baby. In the beginning he was doing about 10 percent and we had a come to Jesus talk. He is really good with her now with the exception of when he is being lazy and sits down rather than walking her around when she fusses.

Well does all yalls men work? Like I get that some of us are SAHM and our husband's work 5/6 days a week or at least my husband does. He is always talking about how he misses me and his daughter during the day, which I love and obviously I miss him as well and it sucks we he ain't home with us BUT then again when he is here he really doesn't do much but sit on the couch and drink beer. He gets annoyed when I try and hand off our daughter to him so that I can get her a bottle, a chewy toy for teething or even to go take a shit or a shower.
I'm at the point where I'm fucking annoyed with the lack of interest he has to spend time with her. Like I know she doesn't do much right now but hey why dont you take an interest in tummy time or bath time.
Like I said I get that he works all week but I do as well (mommy) and at the end of the day I don't get a break, I don't get to close my mind off work for a couple of hours. I've got to be on my game 24/7.
I don't even have time to have post partum because I'm taking care of her that she keeps my mind busy all day long. I maybe had 2 days of post partum in the beginning a week or 2 after she was born. I get annoyed on the weekends when all my husband wants to go is stay at home and chill out. I'm like I been in the house all freaking day, I'm ready to even go eat somewhere or whatever.
I hope once she gets bigger and older he helps out more because I'll tell you if he thinks we are having another child and I'm going to take care of them all by myself with no help at all well he has another thing coming haha

On the light of all this I just read an article on Russel Brand seemingly making excuses on why he doesn’t do the “nitty gritty” stuff for parenting, seems like a lot of dads have the same mind frame, the woman’s better and good at it so why should I do it.

When I’m home, about 20%. He keeps him 1-4 days a week from 8-5. He has a 4 on 4 off schedule.
