Has anyone experienced itching (not just on your growing belly but all over your entire body itching) at the end of your pregnancy? I am 39 weeks tomorrow and started itching like crazy last night. I couldn't go to sleep so I researched what could be causing it. I haven't tried any new soaps or detergents. I ended up calling my dr and they said it could be cholestasis and that they would run some labs at my next appt on Tuesday and that until then I could take Benadryl and should pay close attention to fetal movements. I guess I'm just curious to see if anyone has had this happen to them and if this sounds like normal procedure to wait to get the labs drawn. After reading some of the worst case scenarios online I am freaking out. Ugh!
