For those who love documentaries like me.. please watch on YouTube "Kids vanish before mom disappears" for those that don't have time for that IL summarize it sooooo... Catherine Hoggle a mother of 3 kids (a 5, 3 & 2 year old) (the ones she killed are 3 and 2 and was caught planning to kidnap the 3rd one) anyway what she had done was kidnap the other 2 kids and refused to tell the dad their location..Anyway there are many points of discussion here the 1st being that once the dad started looking for his 2 kids he was informed by Catherine's parents that she is mentally ill and was not allowed to be allowed near her kids alone or even to drive them anywhere but never told the dad this valuable information about the woman he lived with for so many years whom he left with kids... what are your views on the parents withholding such precious information......i personally think they should be arrested. Anyway on to debate point number 2.... this woman was arrested for kidnapping and murder but as a mentally ill patient was sent to a psychiatric ward and 4 years have passed and she refuses to say where she buried her kids so that the poor dad can stop looking for them... Anyway last year her kidnapping charges were dropped because if you are labeled incompetent to stand trial your kidnapping case is dropped after 3yrs same applies to murder but that is 5years of incompetence. so next year she walks free because she is forcibly being held in the psych ward. so do you think it is fair that she is walking free next year because she is mentally ill? (in the documentary Catherine's own mother and the dad of the kids say she is faking mental illness)
