When are you taking baby out?

I don’t want to take him out of the house too soon. We are 6 days PP. and he hasn’t been anywhere from the hospital and only parents have seen him lol. Kind of nervous don’t want him sick!! I was thinking 🤔 6 weeks would be okay to take him to outings or is it still too soon?

I refuse to take her anywhere until 6 weeks. My hubby already brought home a sickness and she couldn’t take anything

I waited until 2 weeks to take her places. The only place she went otherwise was the ped and the health department to get her birth certificate.

We had to go to Walmart at 5 days. 😕
I baby wore in the moby wrap and had a blanket over her.

I’ll be on a holiday when I have baby and I have a 2 yr old. I’ll be going out ASAP once I feel ready. Just plan on baby wearing or keeping babe in capsule. 
Went out early with my first too. Would go crazy not going out for 6 weeks, especially with a toddler at home.
It is summer here I’m Australia though, so not too much sickness going around at the moment. Planning on some beach (under tent) time very soon. 
We are also sharing a house with friends who have a 9 month old. So no escape really.

I think it was about 2 weeks with my son. Doctor had told us not to but we didn’t see anything wrong with going out as long as he was in the stroller with a cover. We didn’t let anyone see or touch him either. He never got sick

I think everyone is different but I usually wait 4 weeks

Yeah my baby girl and I won’t be going anywhere for a good 6 weeks I don’t want her getting sick with the flu or something
