I had my midwife this morning all blood work is ok ish, have to have bloods done again in two weeks if itching continues, blood pressure and iron a little low but nothing I can’t deal with at home with spar tone and eating more regularly. Apparently it could just be pregnancy itching 🤷♀️
Itching it’s so unbelievable I can’t handle this
Went to the GP earlier I am 16+4 with 3rd baby.
I am itching from head to toe and it’s driving me insane.
She took bloods there and then which in its self is a bit weird normally you get sent to a local clinic? And she then said you will either here from us tonight or tomorrow morning?? Well surgery closes at 6pm and doesn’t open til 8am so who is going to ring me and why? It was full blood count and liver function I am very nervous 😬 and can’t stop itching 😢

Don’t worry, try and keep calm my sister suffers from obstetric cholestasis!! She had it with her first pregnancy and she was induced just before 37weeks. She’s has it again with her second pregnancy. She’s 28 weeks and has her bloods done every 2 weeks to check the levels. She has to keep eye on movements as it causes still borns and they will decide whether or not they will induce her again this time. Just make sure they keep checking your bloods even if they say they are fine, it’s a very serious condition xxx
