I’m sad that people are petty- I went to a wedding this weekend and it was great- friends came up to me and wanted to cry with me they were amazing and I consistently said “thank you so much it was terrible, but tonight is about Nick and Ry-Ann” I made sure to congratulate Ryann’s parents and her mom brought up what I went through and I said the same thing and that she should be very proud of her daughter and that the wedding was flawless.

Nick invited us over the next day to watch the pats-chiefs game. Ryann’s Aunt started loudly making fun of me and my husband to Ryan’s mom (about my husbands looks and me being sensitive) (we just bought a very expensive home and she made a comment “oh this is the girl with that house you drove us by” and she rolled her eyes.) it seemed as though they had talked either negatively about me or my husband beforehand.

She was not kind and I did not confront her but I was like wtf in my demeanor quietly- then the bride, the mom and the aunt started texting like woah obviously to each other.

Ryan had me sit next to her and she tried to distract me but I still saw the mom and aunt texting and as the mom was texting the aunt started crying and covering her mouth and then I think “oh newsflash my kid is dead”

The person you are before you know how great my loss is is the person you are- character is everything and I’m appalled and sad for her.

How can people be like this?
