What to say to my OB?
I am absolutely miserable. My due date is 4 days away. Baby is measuring big, but now only a week bigger rather than 3 weeks bigger she had been measuring.
My right hip/leg has been in such immense pain and discomfort that I have literally cried because of it several times. Not to mention the other pains I’ve been having, but this being the worst.
Baby girl is measuring at about 8lb10oz, and is facing my right side. She’s not facing the correct direction for an easy birth, so I’m not sure if that’s a possible reason for an induction or scheduled csection, on top of the high weight prediction.
I’m aware of Fetal macrosomia, aka a baby 8lbs13oz or larger, and that some doctors will use that as a reason for induction rather than waiting another two weeks for an appointment and having her gain even more.
This is my second baby, and my first was 7lb2oz at 36+6. So I have a history of “larger” babies because she was full term size 3 weeks early. Just looking for some advice on what to say tomorrow at my “40 week” OB checkup. I’m done being miserable and all of the at home induction methods have failed me. All of them.
