Hello ladies, I work as a server and there is one regular at the restaurant I work at who makes me very uncomfortable and I’m not sure what to do about it. I’ve only worked here for like 3 weeks so it started the first week with him just making a weird comment about how he was hoping I would be there when he came in. I kind of thought nothing of that but then he started getting creepier by watching me (like his eyes follow me everywhere I go) as I served all around the restaurant, and then today it got busy and I was rushing around and he stopped me while I was going to another table to tell me that I “really move my little butt” and the comment just made me so uncomfortable. I didn’t really know what to do so I kind of just weirdly laughed then ran away and avoided him until he left even though he was staring at me the whole time. How do I deal with this? I don’t feel like I have enough courage to tell him to not speak to me like that if he does it again or says something worse and I’m also afraid my bosses would get pissed and possibly fire me if I did and he got upset about it. Does anyone have suggestions on how to handle this it really made me uncomfortable and kind of upset me. Also unfortunately not being his server isn’t really an option as I often have to work alone and therefore would have to serve him if he came in.
