Did your period come back yet?

Question

So I spotted till week 3 and then had at least a week off, well now I’m 5.5 weeks pp and 99% sure I have my period! Started off brown and then progressed to red, medium flow. I’m EBF so was really hoping it would stay away but I don’t think so 😭

I wouldn’t get too disheartened just yet. In an EBF mom, anything before 8 weeks is usually still postpartum bleeding. From 8 weeks on, spotting (or more) for 2 consecutive days is considered a return to fertility. Now anything could happen, but there’s still a good chance it’s not your period. Chances are you’re up and moving and getting back to normal activities and that is what is causing the resumes bleeding.

Yes tomorrow I’ll be on mine for two weeks I have had a period for literally two freaking weeks ... 😩 I go to the doctor tomorrow as well from my postpartum check
