Gets whiney when sees mom ?

My baby will be perfectly fine doing her own thing, playing on her mat. Doing whatever. Then when I walk by or make facial contact with her. She starts to whine. This is my first baby. She’s 3 months...is this normal?

My babe does the same thing towards the evening- I think they see us and remember that we are their source of food and comfort and can’t contain their emotion lol

She’s the same with me. I think she just wants mom so that’s her way of communicating that. Also, when my husband has her for more than 20 minutes (say if I want to hop in the shower), she will start to WAIL (closer to her bedtime). Then I hold her and she’s fine. I feel so bad for my hubs!
