Does anyone actually not have a monster-in-law??

I would pay for my in laws one way tickets anywhere away from me.

I text my mother in law everyday. Like all parents she makes me say “ugh” sometimes but she’s the best.

My father in law is great. My mother in law means well but shes difficult and I can only be around for so long before I want to rip my hair out.

My sisters & myself have literally made my in laws visits into a drinking game:Take 1 shot if they get mad your door is lockedTake 1 shot if they dont understand why youre surprised to see them when they -literally never- let you know ahead of time when theyre visitingTake 2 shots if they ask you for moneyTake 2 shots if they make a rude comment about our deceased daughterTake 1 shot if they get mad I dont have a meal prepared for themThe list goes on, and on, and on.I dont have a drinking problem, i have a mother in law problem 😂😂

I’m not really close with his mom and it makes me feel weird, being pregnant and essentially having to be around her when the baby is born.

I love mine. But they are SO extra that being around them for more than a couple hours makes me want to drink a lot.

Mother and father in law love the sisters I hate

My husband’s mom was honestly the greatest person we used to go out to the movies and hang out together all the time before I was even dating her son. But sadly she passed away before we got engaged 😭Father in law is ok but sometimes sooo annoying , treats me like I’m a child and doesn’t respect me. Makes me crazy 50% of the time.

My fiances mother is wonderful, we get along great.

I’m so jealous of everyone who’s got great in-laws. Mine are by no means the worst in the world but 11yrs later and I still feel like an inconvenience and like I’m some sort of gold digger (my SOs not loaded though lol).They’re so damn judgemental and have at points made my life an unbearable hell but somehow my man just either doesn’t see it or chooses to ignore it.
