Do False Positives happen with OPKs??
I took an OPK on CD 17 (1/13) (it was early in the a.m.) and I got Peak Positive... I went Thursday for a follicle ultrasound on CD 21 (1/17) and they found a “dominant 15 mm follicle” I got blood drawn and my progesterone was only a 1.5 — with all those results it means I did not ovulate. After all the discouraging information I received I thought something was wrong.
I decided to test again this evening and I got ANOTHER PEAK POSITIVE CD 25!!! This result *picture attached* looks a lot more clearer than my first test.
• My cycles are typically anywhere from 41-46 days. • This is my first round of clomid • and I do have PCOS.
I’m feeling hopeful my first test was a False and with all the results I received from my appt., my follicle matured enough and now this is a real ovulation!!
Has anyone heard of this happening??
