When someone asks me "so when will you have kids?" Me: "When will you die?" Them: "wow i don't know." Me: "Yeah same." Only thing that works for me. 😂

I love this! People are so f*cking rude! Like why do they care when you’re having kids. And most importantly, they don’t know your personal situation. I remember right when my husband and I got married people legit asked us at our wedding when we were gonna start having kids and then commented that my husband was older (he’s 43) so we need to get on it. Like ok bye mind your own business... One of my co-workers has been married for 7 years and she doesn’t have a baby yet. People keep asking her when she’s having a baby. She’s always said stuff like “well John and I have so many things we wanna do before kids” etc. and talks about all these travel plans. Then we went out for drinks one night and she started crying saying that they’ve been trying for 5 years. And she just says that bc she wants people to just leave her alone. I felt so badly and realized how hard it must be and I will NEVER do that to anyone and pry in their business.

Yep my aunt asks me every time I see her. “Sooo when are you guys thinkin babies?” Bitch we’ve been thinkin babies. Do you have a room we can use. All I ever actually choke out is “Maybe soon! We’ll see!”

Yep! I've had to do that to complete strangers. I've had 5 and I'm at the point where I don't care if they get offended if I respond like that.

I’m sorry about your miscarriages. Hoping you get your any soon. Even without the miscarriages I think this question is so rude! Everyone I know had babies in their late 30’s early 40’s. Maybe they didn’t want to “get on it”. I was having so much fun in my early 30’s. I had no desire to be tied down with kids. I’ll be 40 in March and I’m pregnant with #1. I wouldn’t have done it any differently.

I actually had a lady at work follow up her “don’t you guys want children?” question with “well I hope you guys aren’t having trouble conceiving” who says that?! 🤦♀️

I personally love when they tell me I am getting old to have kids. I always tell them, “what makes you think I can have kids?” Personally, I believe that having kids is such a big personal decision. It is responsible when a woman has one and takes care of it and responsible when she decides not to because she feels she wouldn’t be able to give the baby what is needed. Not every woman defines womanhood as being a wife and mother. That stuff annoys me... also, couldn’t we consider that some women focus on a career and plan to adopt later? Personally, I want kids and am trying but will be fine if I can’t conceive and end up adopting. Being a woman is defined by womanly decisions and not just the ability to have kids. Giving birth is amazing, but so is living a life that is fitting for you.

I hate it when people say you should “try again for a girl”, or “did you want a girl”. I don’t tell them that I physically can’t try again and that yes I wanted a girl... I wanted one sooo bad, but she was the twin I lost with my oldest. I also hated all the “when are you having kids/having more kids” questions. What they didn’t know was how many miscarriages I had, and how grateful to God I am and how fortune I am to have my two boys.

My husband and I have been together for almost 9 years now, and from the time family and friends started asking, we just always said "oh, it's in our 5-10 year plan!" After years of this.... Everyone stopped asking because they thought it wouldn't happen! It got SO damn annoying, I was thankful when it stopped. So we just announced our first pregnancy, and said "we told everyone in 5-10 years, we're still within that so shut the heck up about it" lol! But seriously I'm only 28 and people were acting like I'm getting fucking old already. 🙄

It was like that for me once I was 18 when are you getting a job/licence/going to a nightclub, first boyf at 20 when are u gonna get married?, 29, I got married when are you gonna have kids, 32, I had my son, when will he have a sibling.. ????.. grrr focus on your lives n I'll live mine thanks.
