5 week ultrasound?

Has anyone had one this early? I am having to get one done at 5w 1d to make sure it isn’t ectopic, will they just see the sac or what? With my son I didn’t have my first until 8 weeks.

I went today, I'm 5 weeks and we were able to see the lil yolk sac

From my LMP I was almost 7 weeks but I had an ultrasound and it was measuring 5w1d I seen the sac and a very very tiny dot that was the baby

I'm 4w5d and have an appointment to ultrasound in three days to make sure everything is okay and in the right place.

Hi, I also had ectopic same time last year and im just 4 weeks 1 day today. Will have mg first appointment on Thursday, I’ll be only 4w4d. I don’t know what to expect. I don’t know if my doctor will do an ultrasound.

My doctor had my do one at 5w 2d to rule out an ectopic pregnancy as my first was an ectopic. They saw the yolk sac in the uterus so had me come back two weeks later to find a baby.

I did at 5w1d all they could see was the gestational sac

Thank you everyone!! We have an appointment Thursday so I will be 5 weeks. Hopefully they will see the sac because I’m needing some peace of mind. I’ll update with what we find!

They saw the little gestational sac this morning at exactly 5 weeks. My doctor wasn’t going to do a US thinking he wouldn’t see anything and I asked if that was for sure that you don’t see anything this early and he was like we might but if we don’t it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s tubal. And he kind of was like oh well let’s see if that gives you peace of mind so we did and sure enough! Little bean in the right place
