Are home tests that say positive always right? I have heard there are only false negatives, no false positives, but now I'm freaking out! I get blood test results tomorrow, help me sleep

For the first 6 months that my husband and I were trying to get pregnant I had false positives every month.

I hear you! That happens!! It definitely does not always mean chemical pregnancies it happens a lot more often than people know

Could have been chemical pregnancies. I've had a few myself

A false positive is super unlikely. However - there are Evap lines and indents which can trick you into thinking positive but they have no color to them and look different than a true positive line would. If it's a line with color, & you don't have to trick yourself into seeing it - you are pregnant! Congrats!

This is so so wrong!! Positives DO NOT always mean pregnant!!! I went to my fertility dr after getting a positive digital followed by a 12 negatives both digital and not same urine (in a cup) one after the other cuz I couldn't believe I got a false possitive. But it was intact a false possitive clear blue digital (I do not trust digitals) this pregnancy I only used the first response line ones!! And those do not lie!! But yes you absolutely can get a false possitive but it would be just one faulty test there's also something called a chemical pregnancy but that wasn't the case with me! Confirmed by my dr that I had not been pregnant it was just a faulty test! So that's your answer take more than one for sure!!

I got tons of false positives, doctors even told me I was pregnant. Blood test were negative, turned up to be a cyst they think, never gave me a real answer. But it is highly unlikely, are probably pregnant especially if you take a test everyday and they continue to get darker. Blood test will tell for sure.

It's possible to get a false negative, a false positive however, is highly unlikely.
