Period?

How do you know if it’s your first period? I’m 5 weeks pp stopped bleeding two weeks ago except the brown discharge well tonight I woke up to go pee and I’m bleeding light red/ pink like a period. Could this be it? I can’t believe after 5 kids I don’t know lol but I guess I never really paid attention but I’m getting my iud next week and I don’t wanna be on my period so I’ve been hoping I’d get it this week.

Mine started at 4 weeks brown at first then bright red and lasted 5 days and back off. Definitely possible

I did the same thing. It’s very light pink/red but I asked my OB and she said it prob is my period.

Well now it’s bloody discharge kinda like when you lose your mucus plug. I’m confused lol

I’m going through the same. I stopped bleeding a little before the 4 week mark. And then today at 5 weeks started bleeding again. It was a gush and not spotting so I’m really wondering if it’s my period.
