First road trip tips for a 14 month old !?

What to bring !? Any tips and tricks . A little nervous I am going to forget something .

We travel to Vegas and Arizona often from California. It’s about a 4 hr drive for us. Lucky for us, our son usually falls asleep when he’s in the car. But I always make sure he’s in comfortable clothes. I bring his favorite toys and a TON of fruit and snacks. If he doesn’t sleep and gets restless, I’ll let him watch videos on the phone or we’ll pull over and take a break. I sit with him in the back while my husband drives so I sing to him and keep him company the whole ride there :)

I went to Japan and France when my daughter was 5-6 months. We have family in France so we go every now and then. It’s going to be hard to go anywhere with a 14 month old. When she was younger it was easier but once she started walking...yeah lol.

Wrap some of their toys (and maybe a new one!) and give them throughout the trip to unwrap! We did this on a flight and road trip a few months ago and our daughter played with the paper and tape and barely even got the the toys/books/random things we wrapped!
