Sooooooo, my Best Friend and I recently decided to try at a real relationship. We have known each other for 23yrs and always had the Love and Basketball type of emotions that we never acted on. We both recently just became single. I’m 38 and he’s 36. I have two children 19 and 15 and he has one son 8yrs old. Since we decided to explore our feelings for one another after so long it’s been great and we have been friends for so long so we have very good communication. He wants a baby and feels that we can coparent without drama. I would rather have a another baby by my husband, which is why I never tied my tubes. He says I’m going to marry you I just would like to take a year to get to know one another as adults since we been friends and not in a relationship. I Love this man and have since I was 15. I feel we know each other well enough and you will never know everything about a person it’s always a learning process so I feel if we ttc then we should just get married first but he wants to be pregnant first and married before the baby comes. Should I go ahead and try and trust that he will marry me before the baby or stick to my decision to only get pregnant by my husband?
