my husband works in heating and air service. he makes good money, but during the slow seasons, i don’t know if we’d be able to afford for me to stay home. right now my mom watches our 3 month old son, but when he has to start going to daycare when he’s a little older, it really would be cheaper for me to stay home. but he isn’t rich per say. he makes $18/hr.

i went back to work a few weeks ago and i’m heartbroken. i’m more tired than i’ve ever been, and i feel like i’m missing out on watching him grow. i loved being home with him even on the stressful days. my husband has agreed i should stay home to raise him eventually, but how? do y’all have any tips on how to make things cheaper? we’re on separate phone plans, he’s on his dads health insurance until he’s 26 so we’d have to figure out health insurance for our son and i, and we’re paying my car off with our tax return. any suggestions on how to go about this?
