I’m 21 weeks and ours has practically been done since 15 weeks. We just need to hang some wall decor and curtains. I wanted to get it done before I was exhausted in the third trimester and I especially didn’t want to stress over it after baby is here.

It partially depends on where your baby will be sleeping. Ours wasn’t finished even after we brought our daughter home because she stayed in our room until 6 months. If you plan on starting out in the nursery, I would start no later than the beginning of the 3rd trimester just to make sure it’s finished when baby decides to make their arrival.
