I was up most of the night last night, which led to me sleeping in today, which I hate. When I woke up I was beating myself up over it. I got my coffee, sat down on the sofa, and noticed that my fiancé had written a quote in my notebook:

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness. The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved; loved for ourselves, or rather loved in spite of ourselves.”

(I’m unfamiliar with the majority of the quote, however I do know the last sentence is Victor Hugo)
