Throwing up on bc

So I take my pill at 9pm every night but I didn't get a new pack on time so I took one the next morning (yesterday) and one at 9pm last night like I'm supposed to. But then last night around 4:30am I started throwing up. Does this mean the pill is completely out of my system? When can I have sex? Did I get sick because I took two pills in one day?
