Hand pain???

Question

Has anyone experienced hand cramping or like shooting pains in your hands. It sounds similar to carpal tunnel but I don’t think it would be that in the same place on both hands all the sudden! Thoughts?

Wait. Is that a thing? That carpal tunnel flares up in pregnancy? If so, it sure would answer a lot of questions I’ve been having about why my wrists are hurting so bad lately...

The other day I wrote a letter my hand hurt for like 2 hours after! It was intense lol. I assume I'm going to be one of those ladies who gets carpel tunnel with pregnancy. I tend to do alot with my hands and fingers...writting, making jewelery, painting, typing....we will see tho!

I’ve had pain in my thumbs since I found out I was pregnant (currently 14 weeks)! Like on the joint that connects to the hand. I can’t bend them forward without pain and I’ve been having trouble gripping things!

I've heard carpal tunnel is common during pregnancy. You could ask your OB at your next appointment.
