My sisters boyfriend of SIX YEARS has been molesting my 9 year old niece for who knows how long?! I am absolutely mortified and so angry and sad! He was spending the night with my sister like he always did, and they were all three in the bed that night. My sister woke in the middle of the night and heard the two of them whispering, and when she glanced over she saw him spit on his fingers and start to finger her. As you can imagine, she lost it. More disturbing is when she asked what they were whispering to each other, my niece said “he asked me if I was still hurting, and I said no” WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! She told my sister that he has tried to put his “inappropriate part into her inappropriate part”. SHE IS NINE!! She doesn’t even call it a penis or a vagina! She is a child who he has basically helped raise since she was 3! How can someone be so disgusting to do that?! I am so disturbed. AND he’s in the sheriffs academy now, almost complete. To imagine someone that horrid with so much jurisdiction is frightening.

I think back to days where I’d be baby sitting and he’d pick her up early for no apparent reason and would say he just wanted to spend time with her. I always thought it was weird because honestly he didn’t like her too much and was always a jerk to her. But I never imagined this. I always just assumed that he was trying to make a better effort to please my sister. Who knows now?? And so many days he offered to my sister to pick her up from school and have her stay the night with him so she didn’t have the stress of taking her to school the next day before work.

My poor freaking niece. I really am just beside myself for her. My heart aches for her and I have been sick to my stomach for hours.

UPDATE ➡️ the incident has been reported and the typical response has been taken. He was arrested yesterday while at the academy which is great! Pray for healing now!
