So I’m here with my newborn and was just debating in my head if I’m exaggerating or I’m being too selfish to think this way. Before I say anything, I think I’m pretty blessed with my SOs family (sister and mom) they’re super nice generous people. But since I’ve had the baby, 2 weeks ago (granted they live in a different state) my SOs mother has been over the top, like I feel she’s inserting herself too much into our lives, she wants a picture of the baby every single day at least, and a video, and also she’s always questioning things about the baby, if she sees something off on the video or picture. She came over for three days and was not necessarily happy to find out I only give my baby a bath once every other day. She said it’s ok but I should start giving him a bath every day. (Excuse me?!) I feel overwhelmed and like she’s trying to take on the roll of mom she tried to hold the baby the whole time she was here (I’m glad I breastfeed and I went to bed early to feed the baby every time. She has triplets at home who are 7 years old, and should be more worried about them than my son, in my opinion, also considering I have other kids, 10 and 11 só I’m not new to this. I just feel like she’s hovering over everything and idk if I should say or do anything?! I’d really like some opinions. Thank you
