Keep Testing???

Question

My period is 12 days late. I took a test on my 3rd day missed, 7th day missed, and yesterday afternoon. I’ve never missed a period so I’m just a bit worried because I did have sex while ovulating but I used the pull out method which I know isn’t always the best. Should I keep testing for pregnancy or am I overthinking it now? I just can’t get the thought out of my head.

I’d say you’re likely not pregnant. You worrying so much can cause your period to be late. I know there are people who have gotten pregnant using the pullout method, so not totally reliable. BUT, I will say, my husband and I used it for 10 years without incident, so it can be very successful. When we decided to get pregnant we stopped and now we have a 1 year old and are using the pullout method again. I will also say, DONT USE IT UNLESS YOU CAN HANDLE THE RESPONSIBILITY IF AN ACCIDENTAL PREGNANCY DOES HAPPEN! For us, it’s always been, if something happens it’s not the end of the world, so we’re ok doing it.
