Hello! I wanted to tell my birth story, since I love reading everyone’s birth story!

On December 11th a day before my due date, I went to my doctor appointment at 2:30 PM, my doctor did a membrane sweep since I was still only dilated to a 1 & wasn’t thinning that much.. right when I left her office a little after 3 I started feeling a few cramps but thought it was nothing.. my husband & I went home since he had work that night. He left for work after 6 PM.. by this time the contractions were 8 minutes apart & 1 minute long.. I cleaned my whole house( I didn’t want to go to hospital & be sent home)

I waited until 9:30 PM to text & call my husband to come home.. contractions weren’t that bad, I could still walk & talk through them. Got to hospital & got checked at 10:38 PM & I was dilated 3cm.. they admitted me & at 2:15 AM I got my epidural just so I could get some sleep & by then I was 5cm, woke up at 5:30 nurse came in & checked I was ALREADY AT 9cm! (Keep in mind this is my first baby) at 8:30 my doctor came in & said she wasn’t going break my water yet, she was going wait for me to thin out some more. At 9:10 AM I couldn’t handle it, my contractions started in my back, they tried giving me some medicine but it didn’t work, at this point I was crying.. she came back in at 9:25 and broke my water.. I started pushing right after that, fast forward... my son started loosing oxygen.. his heartbeat was dropping.... so she had to vacuum him out... my son was born at 9:58 perfect in every way 💙😍 he weighs 7 lbs & 21 inches long 🥰
