When’s the best time of year to have a baby?

Rh

I know this is completely situational, but I would love to know the pros and cons of pregnancy/childbirth/recovery/first year in relation to the seasons, spring/summer/fall/winter. I threw out some experiences of mine below, what are some of your experiences?

Bay Area Californian here, seasons are rather mild... dry summers, rainy winters and never below 40. I got pregnant in July (of 2017) and was grateful to have been able to avoid a baby bump in a swimsuit. I was able to wear a good majority of my loose fitting sweaters into the third trimester in January, pro. The con to that would be having to match and wear work appropriate pants nearly every day of the third trimester too. Summer dresses would have been fantastic at that size. Soups were weather-friendly and an easy way to stay hydrated throughout. I got a cold in December, but being out of the first trimester already, I was able to take some OTC meds at my midwifes discretion. Staying at home in winter because I was swollen and tired was fine because everyone else was using the excuse that it was too cold to go out anyways. After birth, April, my body bounced back within a month since the days were warmer and I could get outside to walk the dog and push the stroller with baby more. We would get pretty hot and sweaty while breasting on demand during the summer. My daughter had her first round of shots before our summer vacation trip out of state & by plane. Most sunscreens recommend waiting until babies are older for use. She turned 6 months at the beginning of flu season and was able to get her own shot. She still, knock on wood, has not been sick. She started walking before 9 months, and some of that credit I give to being inside some much of the time during chilly months. I’m trying to start planning for her first bday party in April, but am a bit unenthused since the weather is less predictable than a kid’s summer bday...
