Induction????

Question

I’m getting induced tomorrow night which I’ll be 41 weeks and 1 day. I’m 3-4 cm dilated so it may not be a long process. Has anyone experienced induction? And how did it go? How were you induced? And how long were you in labor?

I was induced at 42 weeks. I was at a 4 and 80 effaced. All they had to do was break my water and contractions came in hard and strong and she was born 4 hrs later.

It goes real fast once you are already dilated! I started at a 2, at 2am! Water broke at 5cm and that was at 5am, I had my daughter by 1:00pm

Was induced at 41 weeks with pitocin. Was dilated maybe 1 or 2. Was in labor for 30 hours. Couldnt dilate passed 8 ended up with an emergency c section.

I was induced at 40weeks and 2 days. I was at a 3 when we started. They inserted one pill next to my cervix and waited 4 hours. Inserted a second pill and waited another 4 hours. I was now at 7cm. Didn’t need an epidural up until dr decided to break my water! Then I was demanding it! Haha. Anyway, we didn’t use my poticin and let things advance naturally from there. I’d been admitted for 24 hours when baby girl was finally born. 2.5 hours of pushing for me 😩

With my second child i was supposed to be induced at 39 weeks and 2 days, i was supposed to be at the hospital at 5am December 18th 2012, i showed up at 4:30 am that morning already in labor but they still went ahead and treated it like i was being induced she was born 6 and a half hours after arriving at the hospital weighing 7lbs 14oz.

Got induced at 41 weeks it took me awhile to dilate but we got there I was in labor 30 hours pushed 51 min. It can be a long labor or a short labor you never know.

I was induced at 40+3 with my last. I was at a 2cm before they started. They broke my waters first and started the pitocin drip almost straight after. It took just over an hour before I started contractions. An hour after that I was screaming in pain like I was possessed (think back arching and projectile vomitting) asking for an epidural so they checked me and I was at 8cm and told me there was no time for pain relief. Next thing I know I'm pushing and out pops baby. The whole thing took 4hrs but 3hrs of labour.

I was induced at 39 weeks when I was already dilated to 3 1/2. Pitocin started at 6:00 and she was in my arms by 10:02!

Pitocin at 41 weeks. Checked in at 9am, had the baby at 7pm same day after about 4 pushes ! I was only 1cm when i checked in
