6 weeks, 1 day and gestational age is 5 weeks, 6 days, we conceived late on my cycle, so I conceived Christmas 2018, and my actual Christmas wish came true! I have my rainbow baby! I lost my first baby at exactly 7 weeks in September of 2018. I was devastated after having a subarachnoid hemorrhage and I personally hemorrhaged for 24 hours. 3 hospital trips later, and an emergency D&C, I learned what grief really was. Side note, I was an intensive care nurse at the time and I’m now a nurse practitioner. No amount of knowledge can prepare you for the grief that comes with losing a child and being so beyond measure physically broken.
