Mucus plug and dialated

Hey guys so I am 34 weeks today. My doctor was worried I was leaking amniotic fluid but the test came back negative and I was dialated to a 1 so she sent me to the ER. I was having mild contractions they checked me again and I’m still a 1 so they sent me home. Baby is head down and low. They didn’t seem too concerned but doctor said watch out for contractions.. in the shower I think I lost some of my mucus plug... now I understand every pregnancy is different and anything can happen but does anyone have any similar things happen to them and they go into labor soon?
