I heard that if you take prenatal it will help you get pregnant. Will it help or should I just take regular vitamins?

Answer

It doesn’t help you GET pregnant but it increases your chances of having a healthy pregnancy. It prepares your body by increasing certain vitamin counts so you can sustain carrying a baby and it maintains that during pregnancy. It’s not a requirement to take but most doctors will recommend it.

I don’t know if it is was actually helped but I started taking folic acid at the start of my last cycle, and we got our BFP yesterday ☺️ it definitely wouldn’t hurt to start taking some now

I take the CVS brand gummy prenatals and they are so good! They taste like Sour Patch Kids, but without the sourness.

You should definitely be taking folic acid/folate. It’s recommended that you’re on that for 6 months before TTC.
