Has anyone started thinking about BC options?

I know it’s pretty far off for most of us but has anyone started considering birth control options? I would like to breastfeed if possible. I know that restricts a lot of options. Any ideas of what y’all tried in the past? I’ve been on the pill and shot before. Neither caused any side effects, but I would prefer not doing the pill route.

Condoms and hubby getting snipped at some point. Never doing birth control again!

We're not planning on anything. I refuse hormonal forms. Maybe condoms for a little bit at first, but we dont have any plans to go back to those since we both hate them.

I’m getting another IUD. I’ve had 3 previous mirena IUDs (2 before having my first baby and 1 after her). I had no issues with supply with breastfeeding, baby was exclusively breast milk fed until 15 months! For me insertion was easy every time (easier after baby) and I never had any issues.

IUD. Hubby won’t get snipped and I don’t want to jump in to having tubes tied so will wait a while. We are done having kids.

I dont want to be on hormones while trying to breastfeed so I think we are going to use condoms.
Which sucks, we both hate them. Too bad there isnt a hormonal product that men could take.
