Period urination

Greetings ladies, I’m not sure if you all knew about Thinx period panties but the concept is that they replace tampons, pads and/or cups. I have recently switched over to Thinx and they are an amazing concept... however, I have been leaking past the panties!! (Which I will later deal with regarding getting my money back) but that’s not what I posted about. I had to switch back over to tampons but every time I have them in, I cannot seem to urinate enough throughout the entire day. I drink plenty of water and I know it’s two separate holes but I’m wondering if tampons stop the flow of urination? Thoughts or comments? Please feel free!
