is it normal to affect you quick ??

i got put on depo 2 weeks ago & i was supposed to start my period on 1/13 but i haven’t. i’m 9 days late & no, im not pregnant. is it normal for some women for the depo shot to affect them so quick ?? i had a light red discharge last night but it wasn’t heavy. it only lasted an hour.

The nurse said it's different for everyone some people bleed a little their first period on it then never get or they have regular periods or light or like me heavy every day none stop

Yes when I was on it and first started it instead of my period being late I bled for months since day one of that first period on it I had to get off it after 4 months

I started it in November and I missed a period but a couple weeks later I got it harder than usual :( I’m having one heck of a time with my period so far on depo but hopefully it works itself out 🤞🏻
