So I’ve never really had much of an issue with pms/actual period symptoms but since I switched from the mirena to the shot my pms/period symptoms have been AWFUL. My cramps are so bad I’m nauseous / occasionally throwing up, I’m lightheaded and shaky, I’ve been basically uncontrollably crying off and on for days now. I’m taking WAY more painkillers (ibuprofen, Tylenol, and Advil) than I should just to try to get my cramps to be reasonable enough that I can work, but it’s not enough and I don’t know what to do. I don’t feel bad enough to go to the er but with my work schedule (split shifts with a break from 2-3:30) I won’t be able to get into the local clinic for a few weeks. Anyone have any advice to get my by until I can get in to see a dr?
