Emergency hospital bag?

Question

I’m only 24 weeks, and hadn’t thought about it, but my fiancé mentioned having an emergency hospital bag just in case something were to happen this early on in the pregnancy. In which case, the baby would be in the NICU for a few months.. with that being said, would a bag be necessary if baby girl were to come this early? If so, what would you put in it?
As far as full term babies go, what are you ladies putting in your bags for your hospital stay?

A bag for yourself would only be necessary at this time as the hospital will provide you with wipes and diapers at the hospital and the baby would not be able to wear clothes for a while

I don’t think it ever hurts to be prepared!
Not sure about NICU, but here are some things I brought with me for my first  and we were there for 4 days after an emergency cesarean:
- cozy socks with slip guard
- nursing gown (I felt so much better being in my own clothes and not walking around with my ass out in a hospital gown, you’ll want to wear something loose and that’s good for nursing, see below...)
- your fav pillow from home
- a nursing pillow
- bringing home baby outfit ( you don’t need to bring more than maybe two outfits, baby was just in diapers and swaddled there) 
- going home outfit for you ( I didn’t wear anything at the hospital other than my nursing gowns)
- tooth brush/paste, makeup, hair product, etc (Getting dolled up wasn’t a priority to me but bring only what you truly need) 
- phone charger
- bottle of champagne to celebrate with your man or family 😆
Check but most hospitals provide you with wipes, diapers, mesh panties, pads, nipple cream, a breast pump and so on, so you don’t really need to bring this stuff. Also the best advice I got was to ask every nurse for more of these things and take as much of them home with you! This was such amazing advice!

Honestly just stuff for yourself. The baby would be in NICU so long, you or your husband would go home and have time to pack. The baby could be in size 6m by the time it would get out.

I went into preterm labor with my first son. We didn’t have a bag ready and I wish we did. I had to stay for 2 days while they stopped contractions. I didn’t have change of clothes, toothbrush or anything. I brushed my hair with a fork ( like little mermaid). It was awful. I will definitely have a bag ready this time. Even if it’s just some

I'm planning on having a bag ready by the end of Feb, when I'll be seven months. I'll probably put all the things for both baby and I in. Pinterest has some good lists.
